1. Accounts and roles
A Klockity account belongs to a person, not a company, and may hold memberships in several companies. Company administrators control membership, sites, shifts and reports for their own company only. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
2. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to falsify attendance, share or reproduce site QR codes to enable check-ins by absent staff, spoof device location, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or use Klockity to process data you have no lawful basis to process.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Company subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, on the tier matching the company's active headcount, from Micro (£50) to Enterprise (£2,000). Prices are in GBP. Klockity is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added. If headcount moves into a higher band, the tier changes accordingly.
4. Cancellation
A company administrator may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not refund part-months. Persistent non-payment may result in the company's access being suspended.
5. Data ownership
Companies own their attendance, site and shift data and may export it to CSV at any time. Klockity claims no ownership of customer data and processes it only to provide the service.
6. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our control may cause downtime.
7. Liability
Klockity is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. Attendance records are a tool for your record-keeping; you remain responsible for payroll and employment law compliance.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will note the date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
