How does Klockity stop buddy punching?
Klockity reduces the common shared-credential and off-site routes used for buddy clocking. A check-in needs a current site QR token, a device inside the geofence and an open assigned shift; companies can also require SMS verification and one registered phone per person. Missing checks are rejected and logged. No attendance system can honestly guarantee that every form of misconduct is impossible.
What happens if a QR poster is photographed and shared?
Tokens expire on the rotation interval you set — hourly, daily, monthly or yearly. A company administrator can also regenerate a site's code instantly, which invalidates every copy in circulation.
Can someone clock in early or late?
Yes, within grace. Klockity accepts a clock-in from 30 minutes before the shift starts and up to 60 minutes after. Outside that window the attempt is refused and the staff member is shown the exact shift times.
Can one person work for more than one company?
Yes. A single Klockity account can hold memberships in many companies. Each company only ever sees its own membership, sites, shifts and attendance for that person.
What if a staff member forgets to check out?
A company administrator can close the record with a manual checkout. The record is flagged as manual so it is visible in reports and can be filtered separately.
How can Klockity reduce payroll disputes?
Each attendance row brings the planned shift, timestamps, site, verification result and any manual checkout into one auditable record. Administrators can filter exceptions and export the relevant rows, giving staff and payroll a shared evidence trail instead of conflicting paper records.
How does Klockity support site compliance?
Administrators can define service times for each site and review future periods where no staff member is scheduled to cover them. Attendance reports then show who checked in, where, when and whether the record passed verification.
How is the savings estimate calculated?
The homepage multiplies your staff count by your entered unverified or disputed minutes, hourly employment cost and 52 weeks. Administrator time is your weekly reconciliation hours multiplied by 52. It is an exposure estimate based only on your inputs, not a guarantee that Klockity will recover that amount. We do not publish invented customer-result percentages.
How is Klockity billed?
Monthly by active headcount, from Micro (0–10 staff, £50) up to Enterprise (201–500 staff, £2,000). Payment and subscription management are handled through Stripe.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Klockity is a progressive web app — staff open it in the browser and can install it to the home screen for a native feel, with no app store review or download.
Where is location data used?
Coordinates are captured only at the moment of a check-in or checkout, to test the geofence, and stored against that attendance record. Klockity does not track staff between scans.
